first of all, I would like to wish you a very Happy Republic Day. Today we all are here to celebrate 75th republic day of our nation. Today is very special day for all Indians and I am feeling proud to being an Indian. It is the festival of joy shared between people belonging to every religion, caste and creed. We also celebrate the republic day to mark the first revolution against the British.

Republic means the supreme power of the citizens living in the nation. Republic day is celebrated on 26th January every year. On this day in the year 1950, Constitution of India came into effect. Our constitution gives us a various rights and responsibilities too. It also gives us rights to choose governmt, freedom, duties, responsibility etc. We live in a democratic country where people enjoy their fundamental rights. our constitution allows that all Indian can do anything which they like and we proud to be Indian today.

On this day, there is a big parade that takes place by the government of India in new Delhi at Rajpath in front of the india gate. It showcases India's Defense Capability, Cultural and Social Heritage. On this special day, National flags is hoisted and patriotic songs are sung everywhere. Prestigious awards are given away to martyrs and heroes, who dedicated lives to the country.

I would also like to remember those freedom fighters, who fought bravely against British to get this freedom of our country. They sacrificed their lives to make the country free from British.
